Comeback | Monday Playlist

comeback

HOLY SMOKES have things been busy over here on the west coast or what.

Just as fall has been making it’s slow-but-steady appearance here in Seattle, the ever increasing amount of dots on my iphone’s calendar continue to hastily pop up. I have had a jam packed schedule that has been more spontaneous and unpredictable than normal (with the exception of Saturday brunch, because let’s be honest…you can always count on brunch with me) but I’m definitely not complaining. With each new day comes a new adventure, and what better way is there to live than that?

Monday playlist is here and I urge you to blast it on your morning commute. Beat those blues, ya’ll.

I’ve got Europe photos to share and cool places in Seattle to rant about. RLTC is back for fall, babay.

Speak to you soon!

[Up]Beat the Heat | Monday Playlist

promoplaylist

Things I learned this weekend that might be helpful to everyone else in the world:

-Running outside is great; running outside when it’s 95 degrees is a great way to feel like you’re living your last moments.
-If you like Pina Coladas, then you’ll love the way you smell for 48 hours after using coconut oil to moisturizer your beach-ready legs.
-According to Instagram, Paddle-boarding is the new black.
-If you’re still anxious to learn how to twerk, pay attention to what your body does next time there’s suddenly wasp flying near you.
-Surprisingly enough, the “World Cup” isn’t a souvenir pint glass that you receive if you successfully visit all of the villages in Epcot.

And the final thing I know after this weekend:
-Listening to this playlist will get you amped

Hope you guys got a little bit of a laugh on this Monday morning!

This week has already started off on the strongest foot I can imagine; with one week left until Spain, a beautiful photo shoot wrapped up this afternoon and the promise of some exciting projects on the horizon, I have no complaints.

I explored some new genres this week and really fell in love with some artists I hadn’t heard of before. Get ready to dance, ya’ll.

Weekend Playlist: NASHFEST

For those of you who don’t live in the amazing city that I call home, let me clue you in on something:

Nashville is having a M O M E N T

The spirit of this place is contagious. You can sense it–it’s literally everywhere; it’s in the food; it’s in the fashion; it’s in the music; it’s in the coffee; it’s in the social scene; it’s in the cocktails; it’s in the neighborhoods; it’s in the streets. Nashville is teeming with creativity and ambition and beauty,

And I want to share that with you.

I want to cultivate this blog to be a city guide for Nashville. A declaration of things you can’t possibly miss and things that you need to know about, no matter where in the world you are.

In fact, not just here, but for all of the places I visit. Come with me.

I haven’t done a playlist post in awhile, so to kickoff Nashfest 2014 I thought I’d get some jams together that spouted from around here. Some of these might be familiar to you and others may not, but I encourage you to give it a listen.
