The Ace Hotel is a new addition to DTLA.
Walking in the front doors you are immediately greeted by an immaculately decorated, modern boutique on your left and cafe (serving Stumptown coffee) on your right. You breathe a sigh of relief from being out of the sun and then step up to the tiled counter top. A, hopefully sweet, barista will take your order (don’t make the mistake of passing up on the pastries like I did) and as soon as it is finished you should head to the elevator.
The rooftop of the Ace boasts panoramic views of the city. The open air bar and seating area is the perfect way to take a break during an afternoon or to meet up with friends to end your night. You’re going to want to ‘gram it. Swear.
